Das Schierke Harzresort has well-equipped accommodation featuring free WiFi in Schierke, 5 km from Brocken and a 7-minute walk from Apotheke zum Roten Fingerhut. What's not to like? Very comfortable cottages in a scenic place with a nice breakfast at the restaurant on the property. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Surrounded by the forests of the Lower Harz region, the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch offers modern rooms, a large spa and a country-style restaurant. It is located close to Stolberg. Breakfast buffet was excellent, though the orange juice was hard to find. Wellness offering is extensive and very good. Dinners were superb and the wine list is excellent. The bar is great. Staff is friendly and helpful in all areas.

Set in Bad Lauterberg, 11 km from Harz National Park, revita - naturresort & spa offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This hotel was excellent - with efficient and friendly staff in a great location for hill walking, mountain biking and other sports. I had half pension and the breakfast and evening meal were top notch. The inside of the building was luxurious and the single room or more correctly double room with single occupancy was a good size and with a mini bar.
