Located in Ine, 16 km from Manai Shrine and 16 km from Motoise Kono Shrine, 海蔵寺 宿坊 櫻海 provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This is a very beautiful and peaceful place immersed in the nature and the host is very kind.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The room si beautiful old Japanese style room, bed was very comfortable, amenities are generous and various. The location is perfect, near to accommodation in the center of the famous gion district. Hosts are very kind and fully available. We spent a wonderful stay.

Dotato di un giardino, il Gion Oyado Kikutani si trova a Kyoto, nella regione di Kyoto, a meno di 1 km dal Tempio Shoren-in e a 15 minuti a piedi dal Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Splurge for the superior rooms they were incredible definitely worth the extra expensive perhaps one of my favorite hotel rooms ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in many :)) loved the pijamas too

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Great location away from the crowds but a very short distance away from pretty much all the hot spots. It’s generally pretty rare to find a place with this much space in a major city in Japan for what is honestly a steal of a price. The host went far and beyond what I expected and honestly did a better job helping our group plan activities and restaurants than many hotel concierges I have dealt with.

Auberge AZABU is a family-run "hotel" near the Gojo Tube Station. The whole family is lovely and they will take good care of you. The location is convenient as it's just 2 min from Gojo Station (tube) and in 5 minutes you are at Kyoto Station. The hotel is very nice, architecture and furniture take probably inspiration from the traditional ryokans so you will have the feeling to sleep in a traditional Japanese house even if modernised. We slept on the futon bed and it was soooo comfortable (first time for me sleeping on a futon bed). We had the breakfast included and it was what we needed to start the day. I liked Kyoto and the place so much that I decided to stay an extra night so this is indicative of how comfortable it's been

Situato a Kyoto, a 1,4 km dal Samurai Kembu Kyoto, il Ryokan Inakatei offre sistemazioni climatizzate e un giardino. The room was beautiful! It felt very special to be staying in a 200-year-old traditional Japanese home. The room is very spacious, fresh tatami mats throughout, and has a lovely view into the temple yard across the road. Our host (I wish I could remember her name!) was so gracious and helpful. The only reason we bumped the bed comfort down from "exceptional" is that we aren't used to sleeping on futons. The pillows were nice and the blankets were warm and cozy.
