To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

We loved our room with a beautiful view to the little islands. Everything was superb organised, the people so helpful and friendly. We liked especially the nice driver who picked us up from the station an even run after me when I forget my phone at the reception. Cheers to him! :) The room was perfect, we slept on tatami mats. And so was the japanese breakfast. We highly recommend! The private bath is gorgeous, but also the public Onsen within the hotel. You get a nice kimono in your room to were within the house. The nice welcome with matcha tea and the drink buffet during the afternoon is a very nice service. We learned the hard way that one have to reserve dinner well in advance. You cannot have it spontaneously. But we got very nice help by the receptionist as he called a restaurant where we rushed by taxi to be in time for the last order. It was a great stay!

The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D
