Great welcome and information from Peggy. We found the location fabulous, with parking, restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep but in a pretty market square away from the main road. The bedrooms had great views of the spectacle monuments, the accommodation had everything we needed for the family, and the beds were very comfortable. The town is not just very pretty but lively and welcoming. We just wish we had more time In Le Puy.

Everything was arranged to make it feel very cozy and homey. The owners were also very friendly. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere but it’s very quiet and peaceful there. The house block is very beautiful feels like a fairy tale neighbourhood. 😄

Featuring a garden and views of quiet street, Gites Le Vieux Vinzelles is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Volvic, 11 km from Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral. Clean, tidy, quiet, lots of green, relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend this inn especially for families with little kids. There is a handmade little park in the garden. You can take a walk very large area, feed chickens and fishes or take a nap outside. Also You can enjoy BBQ. There are a supermarket and a bakery in 5mins by car, which was convenient. The owner couple was so kind, even we don’t speak fluent French. The room was clean and very well organized. (Just small attention, don’t forget to take laundry detergent with you.) I wish I could stay 2 more weeks. We had planned to go out, but we rather spent lots of time staying in the inn.
