Rudi is a fantastic host. The views are terrific and the sound of the rushing stream next the hotel is soothing to the soul.

Good continental breakfast. Great dinner with a simple menu but locally sourced produce. Very clean room, nice and light and large enough for 3 of us.

Breathtaking view…… And the hotel had concentrated on small details like putting a mesh for the windows to keep flies and mosquitoes away. Comfortable double bed. Easy and free vehicle parking.

Its a nice village in the swiss mountains.
Its a nice village in the swiss mountains. The drive up the mountain is an experience on its own (check the times the bus drives up the mountain on the signs before you drive up the road. We had to drive backwards up the mountain for half a km.) There isnt much to do in the village itself, but the surroundings are beautiful.

We made an unplanned stop at Isenthal wanting to experience...
We made an unplanned stop at Isenthal wanting to experience a swiss mountain town. Were we impressed! The place and the hotel were fantastic. The owner Rudy was extremely helpful and pleasant. Laura who served us was also very good. We had a great time, hiking, enjoying the beauty of the mountains and views of the lake after a great hike. I would recommend the place and hotel very highly.
Climb a narrow winding road to this quaint, non-touristy town. Wonderful hikes and views, comfortable beds and a very good shower. Décor definitely outdated but very well kept. Boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, fruit and bread for breakfast. Also ate at the on-site restaurant which was good! Would’ve liked a little fridge and a kettle in the room to allow a little self-sufficiency. Very friendly owner. Definitely recommend, but park your car and hike or ride bike!
An absolute gem of a hotel. The location is scenic, with a little river running behind surrounded by mountains. The room was super clean and well equipped and it was very spacious for our family of 4. The owner , Rudi was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic: home made jams and local cheese, yoghurt and other thins in abundance. I wish we could have spent more time day. Highly recommended!
The location was wonderful and I would go there again anytime with one exception: to stay more than just a day because there are a lot of places to visit in the mountains (and also a perfect place to take a bath in the beautiful lake near Isenthal)! Very good food, very good services and the hosts were very welcoming! It was a true experience and i recommend it with the bottom of my heart!
everything, location is amazing, the road to get there is a bit tricky, but once you get there, the views are incredible.
such a great place to spend some vacation time. Breakfast is great, has parking space and our room had a incredible balcony. Hotel looks recently renovated
The accommodation, location and host were absolutely fabulous, Isenthal is such an amazing place to visit and stay and I would highly recommend. The road up to the village is fine as long as you take note of the bus times which are posted at the bottom and top of the climb.
Amazing spot, lovely hosts, breathtaking surroundings and great place to stay in Switzerland for those who want to avoid the very touristy places. My friends and I loved everything about this hotel and the village of Isenthal. I highly recommend staying at Urirotstock!
Isenthal is a magical place. It is peaceful and beautiful. The owner is nice and accommodating. Fewo Rophaienblick is the perfect place to be in Switzerland if you want a quiet and serene environment. I highly recommend this accommodation.
It's a cottage-like hotel in small village in Alps. Really friendly owner. The road is an adventure (maybe to big for some drivers). The view from the room was excellent.
Beautiful village, good restaurant. Driving to the hotel is a bit challenging but it’s a great opportunity to see local village not busy tourist places
