We were choosing a hotel for a mini break, long weekend to ski in the neighbouring Andermatt. It is 10 minutes away from the slopes and it was perfect for us. The room size for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) was excellent. Beds were comfortable and warm, very clean room. The restaurant had excellent food at reasonable prices. It treated us very well and offered free breakfasts to the kids (5 and 7 y.o.). Plenty of parking outside. Will definitely consider this hotel again for our stay in the future.

The hotel is in a good location for exploring the area. It has a small minimarket within 1min of the door. Good continental breakfast served. The lunch and evening meals are excellent and reasonably priced so that you can use every night without the need to drive around for meals. Also, very comfortable seating to relax and enjoy a drink. The owners and staff are excellent, very friendly, and knowledgeable on the local area and weather. Only downside was that the room stayed warm during hot weather.

We really liked this spacious apartment and the restaurant below. The shower was great, and the beautiful kitchen was fully equipped. The hosts could add some basics for cooking in the kitchen cabinets, like cooking oil, salt, and pepper, and then it would be perfect. Although the supermarket is next door so no problem. We left some oil for the next guests. The building next door has very prominent lighting during the night, so if sensitive to light, it might be wise to bring your sleeping mask.

a small but delightful hotel, the room is furnished in mountain style but equipped with all modern comforts, tea/coffee facilities, safe, local tourist brochures. The bed is comfortable, the window overlooks the village. The staff is super friendly, and very helpful in solving small problems caused by the sudden snowfall. The breakfast is exceptional, a very wide choice of both sweet and savory. The jam on hot bread is truly super. The parking a few steps away is a very useful plus.

Truly unrealistic selection of kitchen tools and appliances. And they were all extremely clean, sometimes in apart-hotel rooms you can find some surprises, and there were no bad surprises in this room. Comfortable beds, couches, chairs. Excellent value for money. This will be the only way i do the mountains during ski ferien. Excellent breakfast selection, pool was popular but the dedicate lane was great for laps. Will be coming back soon with my triathlon team!

We were upgraded from a standard apartment as compensation for the building being unfinished, with the only access was via the parking garage. This was no inconvenience and was actually the most direct walk to the bus stop anyway. The style and finish of the apartment was really high end and luxurious. Great to have Nespresso machine. Really well stocked kitchen. Great to have washing machine and dryer. Nice to have the glazed balcony (vinter garten).

Apartment is very cute and perfect for any kind of stay: visits, adventure, skying, trekking. Located in a very calm and quite mountain village, relax is guaranteed. It is a crucial cross of a lot of tourist attractions: mountains, lakes, historic sites, etc. Perfectly confortable and totally equipped: kitchen, living room, bathroom, living room. Owner is very gentle and friendly, attentive to each requests and makes the stay a very welcoming one.

The hotel is recently renovated and fresh. Our suite was spacious, well appointed and clean. Special highlight is large size Soeder Made in Zurich toiletries. There's an undeground garage, reached via the hotel lift. But it's the hotel staff that make this place special - they're very welcoming, friendly, helpful and do their best to make one's stay remarkable.

- perfect location - great restaurant / leisure area - very good hotel kitchen ..but most importantly - truly excellent staff! Very friendly and helpful, gave us tips regarding where to go and what to do. Great, home-like atmosphere. What's more, during new year's eve dinner the chef even walked out of the kitchen to ask everyone if special menu is good :-)

The "Schwarze Löwe" (Black Lion) offers historic flair since the German poet Goethe stayed here. A decent hotel for good value 133 CHF on a public holiday for a double room with private bathroom. We could leave the bycicles in a room in the basement, an honesty bar offers chilled beer and during corona times there are many take away option within walking distance.

Lovely large apartment with comfy lounge and ample kitchen facilities for cooking and racletting! Close to the train station for quick direct access to Andermatt for ski or back to Zurich for flight home. Apartment was plenty warm enough in Feb with little radiators provided (we used) or large stove heater in lounge (not used).

Luxurious apartment & furnishing. Impeccable hospitality and service. Great in-room dining & ski porter services provided sledge & transport to bottom of ski slopes for some trivial sledging. Spa treatment was excellent too. Cheese platter and tower was spectacular.

The location was great right at the lake. - the room was big and clean - bed was comfortable - had restaurant and a bar - free parking for hotel and restaurant guests however limited places during lunch time it might be hard to find a free parking

I had a wonderful stay at Urirotstock hotel. The scenery was breathtaking and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

We stayed there one night during our hiking tour of Switzerland. We found there all that we needed to relax and recover. Comfortable beds, clean room, good food and friendly service.

Lovely elevated position overlooking Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains (even though they were shrouded in low cloud for much of the time during my stay).

great position, large modern apartment:. we weren’t there during snow season but would be an ideal spot for heading up the mountain. the staff were amazing

Lovely local hotel with very pleasant and efficient receptionist, well served dinner in the garden with good quality wines served by the glass. Friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds. We will be back
