Terni was great as a base. Good rail connections to Assisi, Spello and Perugia. Nothing much in Terni itself. Try to find accommodation close to railway station. We used taxi to get to Cascata Marmore but there is a bus.

We stayed only one night in Terni!
We stayed only one night in Terni! we received a very warm welcome from Anna and recommendations and assistance with local restaurants for our evening meal. Our apartments were very comfortable and had lovely views over the hills. The residence is right beside Collescipole - beautiful old town which we wandered through the next morning. The Marmone Falls are also well worth a visit. Would highly recommend a stay.

The city doesn't offer much, but there are lots to see close by. Marmore is beautiful, Spoleto is a wonder, and Narni is a secret delight. Terni can be used as a base, but I would suggest staying in Spoleto.

Terni is a city in Umbria Italy with wonderful mountain views surrounding it. It has a picturesque old quarter and some very good restaurants. A great place to visit nearby is the Marmore waterfalls created by the Romans. There is also a Roman amphitheatre that is still used today for music concerts and theatre productions. There is the archaeological Roman town of Carsulai to visit. Great direct train links to Rome, Perugia, Ancona.
Francesco is an amazing host and owner of the property. The room cannot get any better, wrt the location and the hygiene, for its price offering. Starting from welcome drink and snacks (prosciutto and cheese, home made) on their friendship table to suggesting near by activities and speaking of the local geography, history and culture The owners were very warm and proficient.
Francesco even went out of way to drive us around to the activities around and drop us back in Terni. We were not driving or riding on our own.
The whole apartment with living room, bedroom and bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, everything clean and tidy, bathroom big, cozy and with everything you need, just a great place to live while traveling. The wifi worked great, the parking does not have a specific reserved space, but there was always enough space for several cars in front of the house. Terni is not a place full of sights, but you can easily and quickly get to the surrounding interesting locations.
The breakfast was rich
Daniela was there to meet me, show me where to park the car and how to get into the building and up to the 4th floor.
The apartment was perfect just like the pictures, very comfortable, very homey. It was well equipped with everything. The grocery was downstairs, the pizzeria & gelateria across the plaza and a coffee shop and fruit market across from the parking lot gate. Terni was a very walkable city. Easy walk to and fro the train/bus station.
Apartment is spacious and bright with all the necessary equipment. Bed is very comfortable. Location is very good, 10 min walk from the station and 10 min walk to the old town / centre, supermarket near by. Calm neighborhood. Host is wonderful and very polite. Iwas greeted with snacks, mini bottle of vine and souvenir of Terni. I have stayed for almost a month and the apartment was cleaned once a week, bed sheets and towels were changed once a week.
Best location in Terni! Valentina, our host was super helpful, gave us great recommendations, offered us to book tables, helped us find the address, just outstanding hospitality. Her mom waited up on us to check us in, (we got lost and we're quite a bit late) and she was amazing too!
The apartment is nice and clean, had every facility you could possibly need.
Highly recommend!
I recently stayed in this apartment in Terni. The apartment itself was brand new, impeccably clean, and offered fantastic value for the money.
The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. Their responsiveness to any inquiries or requests was truly commendable, adding a level of comfort and efficiency to my time here.
Great location if visiting Cascate delle Marmore. Diverse selection of snacks and plenty of bottled water. Air conditioning works fantastic. Quiet little village. Right across the street is an interesting display of art inspired by the village as well as an interesting view of the landscape. About 10 minute drive to Terni.
Staff was extremely helpful. The room was quite warm as air conditioning wasn’t working yet so they changed our room to a cooler one
We dined in the restaurant attached to hotel and it was delicious with some of the best waiting staff I’ve ever experienced. Definitely worth going back just for that
The hotel in fact is inserted in the building of central railway station and has a separate entrance by code. It is very comfortable to trip becose the main bus station is near there too. The room has all basic amentities but no safe. All services and receiption itself are in Hotel Micelangelo.
a private room in Terni at a reasonable price.
The bathroom, although communal, really clean all the time
Included in the room were also towels and a way to dry them outside in window hangers
good for someone who need accommodation near by the hospital
For a couple it was perfect for our stay in Terni. It is in the city center, close to the train station and it has everting you need even a supermarket on the same street, 2 minutes from the accommodation.
The hotel was good though the thing that made it stand out for me were the staff - particularly at reception and the waiter at what is a very good breakfast. They were just lovely people. Thank you team.
OK for a one nighter and , to be fair, the location in the general area was OK if you have a car but really too far to walk into the centre of town. Parking in Terni is difficult and expensive.
in the middle of the center of Terni, close to restaurants and shops,
clean Appartment with air conditioning, perfect!
Good instructions with video how to get the key 😊
It was a pleasure to stay in Anna's accomodation in lovely Terni. The accomodation had everything we needed and that we expected. I would gladly recommend it to anyone.
