The stay itself looks great, it is very stylish , it is extremly clean, very well located and lovely :) We would recommend the stay to everyone planning to visit Rhetymno :)))))) You will feel like a part of a Greek family.

Enjoying a privileged location in the heart of Heraklion Town, Ibis Styles Heraklion Central by Accor is just a short stroll from major touristic sights and lively areas of the town. I like Ibis hotels, and this one met my expectations too. It is located in a central area, with lots of restaurants nearby. The room was huge, and I liked that there was a high double bed for us, and a low single bed for our 3 y.o. daughter (she really liked it and finally slept in a separate bed and not with one of us lol). The breakfast was fresh and had a wide assortment of food.

We stayed for a week and it became our home while exploring the island. - as beautiful as the pictures, perfectly clean, peaceful, great breakfast, loved the shower, well isolated rooms, parking available, beautiful pool (though a little cold), subtle music throughout the day, great lightning, mirrors and curtains. - big and small acts of kindness from our hosts - did their best to welcome us a little early, extra coffee and food at breakfast, and just always authentically kind and smiling - we weren't familiar with the surroundings but Chara gave us the best recommendations and we fell in love with it. Believe it or not, the Plakias beach became our favorite beach on the island, especially at sunset

Great location in the heart of Heraklion. Friendly staff at the bar and reception, one lady on the reception even printed a bus schedule for us when I asked her about the bus departures to Rethymno. The place had several huge pools so the pool area wasn’t that busy. There was plenty of things to do in the hotel it was like a town of it’s own, we had no need to go out because it provided everything from restaurants to supermarkets and even cute bars. I felt like they put the thought in the smallest things in the rooms to make it super comfortable, like a place to dry beach towels and swimsuits, bottles of water everyday, parasols and more. Staff was really nice and helpful with everything we needed. Every morning there was a guy coming to our room to offer us a cup of coffee really liked that.
